Most people think of Vodka as kind of a “meh” spirit, and few have really strong opinions on the stuff. The Menaud Vodka from Quebec isn't “meh” in any sense of the word. Meunad Vodka is made with local ingredients from the Quebec-based distillery, such as wheat and rye from l’Isle-aux-coudres. The wheat provides a silky texture and earthy aroma and the rye adds a spicy mineral quality.
- Menaud is a terroir-driven distillery, and the idea was inspired by a literary character from Felix Antoine-Savad.
- Menaud is the first distillery/microbrewery in the Charlevoix region.
- The blend for this vodka is 75% wheat and 25% rye.
