Fun facts: This wine is called "Gravitational Waves" and Fabio likens it to a "surfer wine" or "Fonzi jumping over the shark in Happy Days" (we couldn't make this up if we tried). The idea is for Fabio to ride the wave of the vintage and follow his instincts.
The wave on the label actually represents the percentage of Barbera, Nebbiolo and wild grapes used in each vintage. On the lower right side, you can spot the breakdown in numbers (ex: 50-45-5).
The number of the bottle and the total number of bottles are hand written on labels made from handmade paper. There is an elaborate code on each label that we break down in Fabio's producer profile.
Appellation: Vino Rosso
Winemaking: The grapes are destemmed and macerated for two weeks. Fermentation and aging in homemade stoneware and porcelain vessels.
