Laherte-Frères Rosé de Meunier is a jaw-dropping rosé Champagne made entirely from Pinot Meunier by Aurelien Laherte in the village of Chavot. While part of an old winemaking family, Aurelien exists in a milieu of exciting young producers making unique, progressive wines in Champagne. Fruity, aromatic, and uniquely fun while still maintaining the elegance of Champagne!
- The wine was sourced from various parcels with 30% percent of the grapes being macerated, 60% vinified as white wine and 10% full red. 2.5 grams of dosage.
- Along with his co-laborer in the region Raphael Bereche, Aurelien founded Terres et Vin, a collective that features some of the great, progressive minds in Champagne.
- The cépage is a blend of 60% direct pressed Pinot Meunier, 30% macerated Pinot Meunier and 10% red Pinot Meunier.
