Château Haut-Meneau has been a family property for several generations and is located in the heart of the village of Saint Paul. A former stop on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, the 20-hectare estate is concentrated on a south-facing clay-limestone hilltop with a pretty chartreuse (country home) in its center.
Its average yield is 40 hectolitres per hectare. The maceration takes place over 4 weeks, which gives it structure and the ability to improve over time. Ageing in barrels for at least 12 months gives it its complexity.
