The brothers Brand don’t need any fancy names for this zingy, Nouveau-style of a wine. “Red” will do just fine. This blend of Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Cab Franc and (plus a little Riesling & Silvaner) is fermented in stainless steel and undergoes carbonic maceration prior to being bottled early like a nouveau. The wine then settles for 6 months, and no sulfur was added.
